They will highlight the complementary strengths of both cities and provide insights on fostering successful business relationships. This event is also aimed at exporters in the life sciences industry in both Montreal and Quebec, as well as in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.
The Business in Tandem initiative at a glance
The Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, in partnership with Ville de Montréal, presents "Business in Tandem." This initiative aims to promote inter-city trade through virtual conferences and B2B meetings featuring experts and companies doing business in targeted markets.
This initiative is an opportunity to:
- Understand the business environment in Philadelphia and Montréal;
- Discover short- and medium-term business opportunities in the fields of life sciences, particularly in gene and cell therapy, RNA research, and related sectors within these cities' ecosystems;
- Benefit from the advice of experts and companies active in Philadelphia and Montréal;
- Outline the various challenges and areas for collaboration between the life sciences ecosystems;
- Present the support systems that facilitate the implementation of projects in the life sciences sector.
Optional networking session:
We propose organizing roundtable discussions between companies from Montréal and Philadelphia, our featured partner city. Virtual rooms per sector will be set up, allowing attendees to introduce themselves and engage with potential partners present at the webinar.
