On Thursday, November 9 at 11:30 a.m., participate in the very first conference at the Chamber by Benoît Schultz, President and Chief Executive Officer of Airbus Canada, a global leader of sustainable aerospace.
Airbus established itself in the country nearly 40 years ago, but its presence in Quebec increased considerably five years ago. Since 2018, the company has been leading, in partnership with the Government of Quebec, the design and manufacture of the A220 aircraft, a Quebec flagship that promotes our aeronautical industry worldwide.
Airbus now has more than 4,000 employees across Canada – its strongest presence outside of Europe – in its various divisions and subsidiaries. The company is expanding in the country and has created more than 1,000 jobs locally in the last five years and plans to hire 800 people in 2023.
The decarbonization of the aeronautical industry is at the heart of Airbus' priorities and this subject will continue to grow in the years to come. Come discuss with Benoît Schultz, CEO of Airbus Canada, on these topics that concern us all as citizens and members of the Montréal business community.
