An overview of the mission
As part of Ubisoft’s Women in Tech initiative, the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal’s Acclr experts in international trade invite you to take part in a trade mission to Silicon Valley from April 29 to May 3, 2019.

In order to support women in the technology sector, we are offering an opportunity for nine start-up representatives to take part in this mission for free (Accommodations and plane ticket included). To promote access for young technology entrepreneurs and project leaders to this trade mission, LOJIQ will provide 8 lump-sum grants of $1,050.

The application period for the Women in Tech special package has ended.
Deadline for registration for the “Women in Tech special” package: March 8, 2019
The winners will be selected during the week of April 1, 2019.
The company must meet one of the following conditions:
- The company is owned by at least one woman, in equal partnership with the other shareholders.
- The company is managed by a female senior executive.
- The company is controlled or run by at least one woman in charge of the main business decisions such as finances, activities, staff, or strategy.
The company’s percentage of Canadian-owned capital must be equal or higher than 50%.
The company’s headquarters must be located in Quebec.
The technological solution must originate from Quebec.
The company must be at less than 10 years.
The company must market a product and meet ONE OF the three following conditions:
- Have received funding that ensures them to pursue their activities for at least the next 18 months.
- Have annual sales between $100,000 to $5 million.
- Have active users of the technological solution.
- The content included in the applications selected will be considered as public and publishable.
- Applications can be submitted in French OR English.
- Only one female representative per company selected will be invited to take part in the mission.
- Candidates authorize the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal (CCMM) – including its Acclr services – and Ubisoft to use their testimonies for free as well as photos and/or videos of the representative for communications, advertising, promotional, and informational material.
Who should take part?
For technological package:
Any company who operates in the technology sector (fintech, AI, medtech, biotech, IT, etc.).
For company executives, heads of business development, sales directors, international trade directors, or any other profile who has an interest in marketing their products/services to the United States, more specifically to California and Silicon Valley.
- Any company which meats the following criteria:
- The company is owned by at least one woman, in equal partnership with the other shareholders.
