Trade mission to Paris: BIM World 2022 exhibition

Held annually since 2015, BIM World is the must-attend event for construction and real estate professionals involved in the industry’s digital transformation. Intended for SMEs, large companies and both public and private contractors, the BIM World exhibition and conferences showcase the best practices and solutions for meeting these challenges.

On average, BIM World welcomes 11,000 participants from 70 different countries, holds 120 conferences and workshops and has 270 exhibitors. This is a unique opportunity for construction and real estate management professionals, local communities and their partners, and digital and service stakeholders to meet and build the future together.

This year, the Low-Carbon Solutions exhibition is being held at the same time. This event allows ecological transition, construction and land-use planning stakeholders to meet to discuss operational solutions, the latest innovations and projects for addressing these transitional challenges.

Economically, Paris has an international reputation and numerous business opportunities in various sectors, as evidenced by over 150 world leaders meeting there. Several of these leaders have chosen Paris as the location for their global or European headquarters, including Vinci, Bouygues, Eiffage, Hexacom and Cogedim.

More recently, the Paris region distinguished itself with several innovative projects, such as PREP Métropole France Paris, Réinventer Paris, Inventing the Greater Paris Metropolis, the Eiffel Tower redevelopment project using BIM and the Stratégie Nationale Bas-Carbone (SNBC)—an initiative by the Ministère de la Transition écologique in which BIM plays an important role. This is a unique opportunity to learn about and better understand these major transformations.

The safety and health of the participants and organizers of this mission are at the very core of our concerns.

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal and its government partners abide by the public health guidelines of Quebec and Canada, and expect participants in trade missions to do the same.

Therefore, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the final decision to organize a mission will be made between 4 and 12 weeks before the mission, depending on the health situation and the recommendations by public health authorities. The mission will be conducted in accordance with government guidelines and applicable health protocols.

In order to facilitate the safe conduct of the mission, the number of mission participants will be limited to one person per company, organization or institution. A maximum number of participating companies or organizations for each mission could be established by the CCMM. The selection criteria are given in advance by the CCMM. All entries are subject to approval.

As a general rule, the registration fee for each mission is non-refundable in the event of a participant's withdrawal. If the mission in cancelled by the organizers or by CCMM, the registration fee will be fully refunded to participants. Registration fees will also be refunded if a participant should withdraw due to issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
