Electronic certification is the next-generation solution that allows exporters and forwarders to issue a certificate of origin and have their documents certified for export electronically.
A simple and effective process
- Documents are submitted to the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal (CCMM) electronically by exporters and freight forwarders.
- Documents are reviewed, accepted, stamped, signed and returned by the CCMM electronically.
- Certified documents can be printed by exporters and freight forwarders from a quality colour printer.
- Certified documents are stored securely and confidentially by the CCMM.
