Quais De Lorimier: the Board of Trade praises an important project for the Centre-Sud neighbourhood

Montréal, May 6, 2016 – The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal praises Quais De Lorimier, an ambitious urban development project announced today by the Bertone Development Corporation (SDB). “This project results from an entirely private investment of $500 million and will revive the economic development of the Centre-Sud neighbourhood by attracting new businesses and creating a significant number of jobs. Moreover, the project’s unique architecture, when combined with the illuminated Jacques Cartier Bridge, will embellish one of the city’s major entry points,” said Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal.

“The Board of Trade also wants to highlight SDB’s willingness to create a dialogue with the community in order to ensure that the project seamlessly integrates into the neighbourhood. Reaching out to Convercité, an organization dedicated to helping developers build closer ties to local communities, demonstrates the company’s commitment to making sure its project is aligned with the identity of the neighbourhood and its residents,” said Michel Leblanc.
