Simply inspiring!
Congratulations to Maestro Kent Nagano and the musicians of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra on their extraordinary concert of yesterday evening. I've said it often as have so many others and with good reason: the MSO scored a coup in bringing Mr. Nagano to Montreal. Moreover, the arrival of this renowned maestro to the metropolitan region speaks volumes about the ability and desire of all Montrealers to dream big and reach further: two essential ingredients in realizing our full potential.
I also applaud the entire management team and board of directors of the MSO for having demonstrated the leadership and determination that was needed for a musical director of this calibre and profile to select Montreal. And, of course, kudos to our outstanding musicians, who have so artfully responded to their director's baton.
Bravo!
