The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal remembers
Montreal, September 11, 2006 - On this September 11, the thoughts of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and its members are with the victims of the terrible tragedy that happened five years ago today.
September 11, 2001, forever changed how we see and understand the world in which we live. The painful memory of those events is still with us today, even as we go about our daily activities. As we head for work on this sunny fall morning, we can't help but feel close to each one of those individuals who lost their lives five years ago. In paying tribute to them today, it is with the renewed hope of creating a peaceful and harmonious world, a hope we must pursue with determination.
The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal has some 7,000 members. Its mission is to represent the interests of the business community of Greater Montreal and to provide individuals, merchants and businesses of all sizes with a variety of specialized services to help them achieve their full potential in terms of innovation, productivity and competitiveness. The Board of Trade is the largest private organization in Quebec dedicated to economic development.
