Announcement of the candidates for the
Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal 2011
Montréal, May 3, 2011 – Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, and Louise Roy, Chair of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, the co-chairs of the Honorary Committee for the Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal, announced the names of the 17 candidates for the 2011 edition of the Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal. These awards recognize and reward the involvement of businesspeople in Greater Montréal’s arts and cultural scene.
These strong nominations were submitted by arts and cultural organizations from the metropolitan area to express their appreciation for the invaluable support of these businesspeople and companies during the year. These prestigious awards recognize the innovative spirit and appetite for risk of entrepreneurs and promote different forms of support to the arts to encourage other people and businesses to follow in their footsteps.
The winners in each four categories (Large Enterprise, SME, Arts/Business Personality and Business Volunteer) will be announced on May 31, 2012 during an awards ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at Astral, Maison du Festival Rio Tinto Alcan.
