Montréal, March 12, 2020 ‒ Given the series of measures deployed by public health officials to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal has decided to suspend public events beginning Monday, March 16, until further notice. The Chamber will continue to track the situation and regularly review this decision.
“We believe that suspending our events is the responsible thing to do to protect the health of our employees, members, partners and the general public,” said Michel Leblanc, president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal. “Our teams will monitor the situation and recommendations from public health officials to reassess our decisions in real time.”
Participants registered for Chamber events will be informed shortly of how to obtain refunds.
