Strategic Forum on Transportation

A metropolis on the move Events The activity will be held in French and English

Presented by:

Infrastructure and public transportation projects are on the rise

In this year marking the 375th anniversary of Montréal, the number of infrastructure and public transportation projects is on the rise. At the same time, several stakeholders are mobilizing to change our ways of getting around—innovating and creating business models that improve our city’s traffic flow and make daily life easier for millions of Montrealers.

This mobilization is creating a pivotal moment for transportation in Montréal: business opportunities are emerging, innovative solutions are being launched, and new players are coming to the fore. Forget the fact that Montréal is 375 years old—as far as transportation goes, the city we know today will no longer be the same in 5 to 10 years. This forum is an opportunity to learn how the city of Montréal is quickly adapting to 21st century transportation needs, to reflect on the influence that major projects are having on business models, and to dream of the Montréal of tomorrow. There’s no doubt about it, the Greater Montréal region is on the move.

Do not miss this event, which will take place in the presence of:

  • The Honourable Marc Garneau Minister of Transport
