The mission in brief
The Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal's Acclr team of international trade experts—in collaboration with the Canadian Digital Media Network and ICT West, and with the support of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service—is inviting the city’s innovative companies to take part in a trade mission to CES 2017, the world’s largest trade fair dedicated to innovation in the consumer technology field.
Technology companies
Participation in the mission includes:
- Registration as an international delegate includes an Exhibit Plus pass for every participant. To find out about the benefits of being an international delegate, click here;
- Access to the business networking platform (B2B) and to the Canadian delegation's directory;
- The opportunity to request B2B meetings with potential buyers or partners from Silicon Valley, Shanghai and Taiwan via the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service*;
- The opportunity to take part in the International Buyer Program** organized by the U.S. Commercial Service;
- A reduced rate to take part in Matchfest, a business matchmaking event (B2B) on January 3 and 4;
- Public relations training/coaching to learn how to maximize the impact of your discussions with international press and potential clients;
- Increased media exposure (public relations);
- Guidance before and during the trade show, including coordination and communication support with Canadian and American trade delegates;
- An introductory briefing, including market intelligence, in Las Vegas;
- The opportunity to mingle with technology companies from other Canadian provinces;
- Participation in the Canadian delegation’s networking activities;
- The opportunity for lodging near the CES circuit at competitive rates (at participant’s expense);
- Five (5) hours of support services to prepare for your participation at CES and ensure follow-up.
*Closer review of your file as a participant in the mission, based on the relevance of your company profile and the date on which your profile was completed. Space is limited; first come, first served.
**After December 19, certain conditions apply
Influencers
Participation in the mission includes:
- Media exposure
- An itinerary of special visits
- Participation in the Canadian delegation’s networking activities.
Please note that validation of your relevance as an influencer is required. We reserve the right to refuse any request to participate as an influencer.

Why CES?
Held in Las Vegas each year, the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the meeting place for all those who work or are keenly interested in the consumer technology field. It is a key launch pad for next generation innovations.
CES showcases over 3,800 exhibiting companies, including manufacturers, developers, and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems, and more. CES features a program of more than 300 conference sessions and welcomes over 170,000 attendees from around the world.
Who should take part?
This mission will allow companies from Montreal and throughout Quebec to promote their innovative products and services (non-restrictive recommendations):
