Festival Art Souterrain XL

Stroll through the Festival Art Souterrain XL’s underground pathway of contemporary art, supported by the “I Love Working Downtown” initiative.

Featuring an unusual format, this annual contemporary art event will offer visitors more to see and experience in the underground city, showcasing imposing creations and a larger selection of artists.

The project in a nutshell

The 14th edition of the Festival Art Souterrain will highlight the work of some 40 local and international artists, selected by artist and curator Eddy Firmin and the collective of artists and curators of Intervals Collective. The program features installations, paintings, performances, videos, photographs, digital art and sculptures, grouped under the theme “Voies-Voix Résilientes” (Resilient Voices-Pathways).

More than ever, diversity and inclusion are front and centre in our collective thinking. And art must be the source of a wider awareness. About “I love working downtown”: A Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal initiative

The “I love working downtown” initiative, carried out with the support of the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation, aims to deploy actions to accelerate the revival of downtown Montréal.
