Montreal, May 2, 2016 – The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and its team of international trade experts, the World Trade Centre Montréal, have successfully completed their trade mission to the industrial technology trade fair in Hannover, Germany. The leading event of its kind, Hannover Messe is the largest industrial technology trade fair in the world.
“This mission allowed participating firms to establish commercial contacts with partners, and provided invaluable exposure to potential clients. This trade fair is a must for companies in the sector as it draws over 200,000 professional visitors and buyers from across the entire spectrum of the industry,” stated Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade.
“Innovation is a critical key for the future of the industrial sector and for the competitiveness of our businesses. In addition to giving our companies the opportunity to build their networks and shine on the international stage, this trade mission also provided them with privileged access to new technology and allowed them to explore the most innovative practices,” continued Michel Leblanc.
“This trade mission was a golden opportunity for us to continue our growth around the world. The Hannover trade fair is a must for our company; we established lasting business partnerships while showcasing Quebec know-how in the field of industrial technology,” concluded Yannick Desmarais, President of Worximity.

This activity was carried out as part of the “Exporting Quebec – Small Business Conquering the World” initiative, in collaboration with La Presse+, and courtesy of the initiative’s official airline, Air Canada. The World Trade Centre Montreal also receives support from Economic Development Canada.
