There are more than 70,000 engineers and candidates to the engineering profession in Quebec. Their contribution to society is undeniable and essential.
President of the OIQ since June of this year, Ms. Larivière-Mantha has worked for several years as an engineer in the health sector. Throughout her career, her primary mission has been to serve the public. Her appointment as president of the OIQ was the logical next stage of her professional journey.
During her first address to the Chamber, Ms. Larivière-Mantha will discuss her vision of the profession within Quebec society and highlight the OIQ’s efforts to address issues such as the protection of the public, sustainable development, and diversity. She will also unveil the OIQ’s recent study on entrepreneurship and engineering.
