On September 3 at 11 a.m., the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal and Propulsion Québec, an industry cluster representing Québec’s electric and smart transportation sector, invite you to take part in a virtual conference to understand the strategic role of public procurement in strengthening Québec’s innovation and developing its economy.
Background
The crisis that has hit Québec and the rest of the world hard in recent months has had an unprecedented impact on economic activity. In this context, it is essential to reflect on the role of public procurement and public procurement policies, as they can provide cyclical support to the post-crisis economy and allow for assets to be obtained in return.
This is also the time to outline a new vision for Québec that is at the forefront of innovation, resilient, sustainable and socially oriented. Public procurement could accordingly be an important tool for achieving these objectives with a focus on solutions that help reduce GHG emissions.
