A look back at the Strategic Forum on Artificial Intelligence

On February 18, 2019, close to 850 leaders from different sectors of activity took part in the second edition of the Strategic Forum on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to evaluate the impact of artificial intelligence on the city’s economic development.

The event was held with elected officials from the three levels of government in attendance: Canada’s Minister of Transport, the Honourable Marc Garneau, Québec’s Minister of Economy and Innovation, Pierre Fitzgibbon, and the Mayor of Montréal and President of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal, Valérie Plante. It gave participants a first chance to hear from the president and CEO of the Canadian supply chain supercluster focused on AI (SCALE AI), Julien Billot.
