From November 11 to 15, ten Montréal organizations joined our economic mission to California on sustainable and intelligent mobility. Organized by the Ville de Montréal and the Chamber’s Acclr experts, with our sectoral partner, Propulsion Québec, and our promotion partner, Jalon Montréal, this mission coincided with the third edition of CoMotion LA.
CoMotion LA: an opportunity to meet key players in the sustainable mobility sector
Companies that came on the mission attended the two-day CoMotion LA conference, an event recognized worldwide as a laboratory for mobility innovation whose goal is to develop solutions for a more connected and sustainable urban future. Participants at the conference could reflect on innovations to address mobility challenges by interacting with key players in the sector.
Company visits: the importance of direct contact with industry leaders
Mission participants had the chance to visit several leading companies in the transportation sector, such as Uber, Valeo and Rivian, based in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and the Los Angeles area, respectively.
“The Acclr team set up great meetings that let us create real business connections with different groups. We were able to discuss our common visions and advances in sustainable mobility.”

“The different meetings and activities were brilliantly organized and helped me deepen my knowledge of growing companies while drawing parallels with the ecosystems of Quebec, rail transit, and my own company. During the trip, I also had the chance to meet with passionate professionals and build human relationships that will follow me in the future.” – Gabriel Trottier-Hardy, Director, Business Development and Sales, Bombardier
