This initiative includes three activities with a double objective: to help our SMEs grow through business acquisitions by familiarizing them with the tools they need; and to promote our large companies that have distinguished themselves by their successful growth.

With the recent sale of several of Quebec’s top companies, public perception is sometimes that the metropolis is losing many of its head offices. However, the reality is that Quebec companies have been conquering more on the local markets as well as on markets outside Quebec for the last several years, according to the latest statistics from the Ministère de l’Économie, de la Science et de l’Innovation.

In order to celebrate these acquisitions made by Quebec companies and to encourage our SMEs to follow suit, the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal invites you to take part in the Acquisition for accelerated growth initiative, which includes three big events:

  • Equip yourself: Participate in the Acclr Springboard Forum, a half-day where buyers and seasoned experts share their skills with participants. This first edition is intended to be a toolbox to allow SMEs to grow their businesses locally and internationally through acquisition strategies.
  • Share: Network during the unique activity Business Clans: Spotlight on businesses in acquisition mode. The popular activity returns with the theme of business acquisitions. This learning and exchange opportunity will bring together seasoned entrepreneurs, SMEs and everyone with interest or experience in this field.
  • Get inspired: Take part in a business luncheon, a big celebration that will bring together a panel of large companies from the business community that have made the province shine through some of the largest acquisitions of the last year.
Get free access to the business luncheon when you sign up for the Springboard Forum or the Business Clans.
